The holiday season is upon us and it’s time to pull out the ole’ tips and tricks to make things easier during the holiday season!

Holiday Gifts for Clients

It’s that time of year again where you’re looking for the perfect holiday gift for your loyal customers. Check out a few ideas below!

Customized Gifts
Everyone loves a good swag item with a logo on it! There are various platforms out there that do customized engravings, logo items such as wine bottles, pens, key chains, swag bags, etc.

If you have a partnership with your client, double up on the logo and put your logo on one side and your clients on the other. So thoughtful!

Logo Wine Bottles
Design your own sticker that’s big enough to cover a wine bottle label with your logo, a picture of your team or just a holiday friendly image and stick it over the label on your favorite wine bottle of choice or liquor bottle! This makes for a great personalized gift during the holiday season.

Sweet Tooth
Who doesn’t have a sweet tooth during the holidays?! Sending your clients an assortment of sweets is a great way to show appreciation. This option is great for sending to an office of 10-15 employees so they can keep it in their break room or snack on it over the weeks. Fun for the whole office!

Branded Cookies
Did someone say cookies? Speaking of sweets...a crowd favorite is sending logo cookies. PeakLeads got these for our rebrand party and they turned out great! If you have a creative hand on your team, you can attempt to make them yoursef. Otherwise, a local bakery can most likely do something like this! You can do your company’s logo or clients (or both!) Either way, they're a hit!

Thnks.com
If you want to keep it simple, use the website Thnks.com and send a virtual gift card for them to grab a coffee, snack or lunch or dinner on you!

Giving Back to Your Community

Volunteering
A great way to bring your team together and give back to your community is to volunteer together. There are so many people/places that need the help during the holiday season and what better way to immerse yourself in the community than to give back to it! Soup kitchens, homeless shelters, department stores, etc. could always use the extra help. Volunteering will bring your employees closer together and could also get your roofing company name out there! Maybe volunteering together is hard because you can’t make schedules line up or you don’t have the spare time…start a food drive at your roofing company and have employees or clients bring in canned food and non-perishable items to donate to a food bank for those in need during the holidays.

Roofing for Someone in Need
Although this may be a large ticket item, it makes a huge impact! Maybe you know a family, an elderly member of the community, or a retired veteran that’s in need of a new roof or repairs on their roof - but can’t afford the service or simply have been putting it off. Gift a free repair or a free roof and you will spread so much kindness!

Host a House-Decorating Contest in the Community
Hosting a house decorating contest is a fun and easy way to get your roofing company involved in the holiday spirit! Have homeowners call in or email your roofing company to sign up. All you need to collect from them is their name, address and email. Tell them they are to decorate the exterior of their home any way they would like to. Set a time and date that you’ll be coming out to judge their house (usually works best if it’s dark out so you can see the lights! They don’t have to be home either!) and drive by with a few team members and observe their display from the road. You can make categories such as the following:

“Best Holiday Spirit”

“Most Festive”

“Best Overall Decor”

“Holly and Jolly Award”

Small holiday prizes can be put in their mailbox if they won, or a virtual gift card emailed to them saying “You’ve won the {Your Roofing Companies Name} House Decorating Contest." If you are feeling extra giving during the holiday season, you can do a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner. Make sure this is okay with HOA’s and community involvement teams as you don’t want to step on any toes while spreading this holiday cheer.

These are just some ways that your roofing company can say thanks to your community during the holidays. If none of these speak to you, don’t worry there are tons of other options that can make an impact. Whatever your organization chooses to do, make sure it aligns with your company values and the values your company would like to maintain so going into the new year, you’re bound to recap the rewards in the year to come.
